And So It Begins...

so here it is. my very own blog. it kinda makes sense, right? i'm the kid constantly updating my statuses. (yes. statuses plural. fb and gc. i'm addicted.) so why haven't i started a blog before today?

well i guess i figured it was too narcissistic. who am i to think anyone else would want to read about me, my life, the inner ramblings of my mind and all that? well i'm nobody. except i love to read other people's blogs. like L<3VE it. i had the dumbest, most boring job in the world for the last year and blogs kept me sane. i'm don't want anyone to infer that i think my blog is going to keep them sane, but it might be a little bit amusing during a long work day. my dear friend mattycakes basically told me it was obligatory that i have my own blog since i spend so much time looking at other blogs, posting pictures on fb, and updating my gstatus. and so the absolutely oblogitory blig was born.

i guess my real motivation is that i'm blessed with friends in so many places that i sometimes don't keep up with them the way i'd like to. this way i have an outlet other than a limited-character statement to let people know what i'm up to, and hopefully they'll reciprocate and send me links to their blogs too.

so hello blogging world. pleased to meet you up close and personal. i'm sure we'll get along like pidgeons and lip-puckers.
